This Girl Can Sleep Anywhere!
Just because she is now 7 1/2 does not mean she is too big to curl up in the restaurant booth at dinner and go to sleep!

All A Honor Roll
Peyton's name appeared in the Bryan-College Station Eagle newspaper today for making the All A Honor Roll. We almost missed it! We have the paper delivered daily... it was so rainy today that I didn't pick up the paper from the driveway until late afternoon. When I finally did grab it, I almost just put it straight into the trash can, thinking it would be soaked. Fortunately, I happened to notice that it was dry enough to flip through... and I'm so glad I did! Would have been sad to have missed this!
Reagan's 1/2 Birthday
Saturday marked Reagan's 1/2 birthday, so she can now officially say that she is 7 and a half! On Tuesday, Reagan's teacher honored the day by giving Reagan a birthday balloon (a giant pixie stick was attached to the bottom as the stick, which Reagan ate immediately after school!) and a new book. Reagan also got to take pink cupcakes to school to share with her friends.

Bonfire at Grandma and Grandpa's
Peyton spent the 3 day weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They kept him busy with his favorite activities there - including a bonfire!
Weekend with Reagan
While Peyton was having a ball at Grandma and Grandpa's house, Reagan was enjoying some fun of her own here!
On Saturday morning, Reagan participated in the Mini-Cougar Cheer clinic at CSHS. The girls learned a couple of new cheers and a dance.
That afternoon, Reagan attended a birthday party for a neighborhood friend. The party was at a local fitness club - with an indoor pool! Reagan had been looking forward to this party for days - counting down until the party date arrived!
While talking to Granmommy and Grandaddy on the phone Sunday evening, Reagan decided that was the perfect time to practice tying shoes - and she nailed it!

Someone Doesn't Eat Crust
As I was cleaning out lunchboxes after school one day, this is what I came across in Reagan's sandwich box. She perfectly nibbled the middle out of each half and then put everything back together!

Ice Skating!
Thanks to the power of commercial advertising, Reagan has been begging for us to take her ice skating at Spirit Ice, the local skating rink. We were planning to take her over the Christmas holidays, but then a friend invited her to a birthday party there. Reagan was counting down the days until her first ice skating party! This rink lets unsteady or uncertain kids use cones to aid in their skating. Reagan used her cone for all of about 30 seconds and then decided she could do it all on her own! For a beginner, she did great! We are attributing her skill to all of the rollerblading she does around our neighborhood!
