Reagan's Shiner

Despite the net around our trampoline, we learned on Wednesday that injuries are still possible! Reagan was throwing a large ball out of the unzippered door and forgot to let go of the ball as it flew out of the trampoline!  She flipped out of the trampoline, head grazing the ladder before landing on her back.  Although the incident was very traumatic for her, it definitely could have resulted in worse injuries!  For the last two days she has enjoyed tell everyone - and I mean EVERYONE! - about her boo-boo!

Peyton's Shirt

One day last week, Peyton came home from school determined to sew a shirt.  At first, he insisted on sewing a shirt for himself, but, I was finally able to convince him to start with a doll-sized one!  He worked very diligently on all the stitches.  And he was very proud of the final product - so much so that he took it to school the next day to show his teacher!

Basketball!

Peyton is expanding his sports knowledge this year by playing basketball for the first time.  He is playing in an Upward league at Bulverde United Methodist Church.  In just a few weeks of practice, he has really learned a lot and has come a long way!  His first game was Saturday,
January 8.

 Ready for his first game!

 Peyton with the fast break!

 Another fast break!

Peyton had the ball quite a few times during the game and even attempted four shots, one of which was super close to going in!  It was a great first game!
