The last Friday of September was a holiday for CISD - more specifically, it was our "Comal County Fair Holiday". The kids and I decided to spend the day (and night) and Grandma and Grandpa's house, and we took Gregory with us. The first thing the kids wanted to do was to ride the Range.
Grandpa recently taught Peyton how to drive the ranger by himself. Peyton is the most cautious driver! He and I drove around for a really long time, never going more than 10 mph (the limit Grandpa set). Peyton takes the entire process so very seriously!
On Saturday morning, Grandpa took Peyton to the monthly food distribution their church sponsors. Peyton has been wanting to help with this for over a year now, and the date finally worked out! Peyton assisted in marking lines through the bar codes (so the food can't be returned to a grocery store for money) and helped push carts of food out to people's cars. On the way home, Grandpa rewarded his assistance with a milkshake. Peyton sweetly asked if he could take one home for Reagan as well, and Grandpa happily obliged!
