Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type
Tonight, Grandma, the kids and I went back to the Magic Theater for the second time in just a few weeks. This time we saw Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type, based on the children's book by the same title. Peyton has been looking forward to seeing this play for weeks! As always, we were able to get autographs and pictures after the show. We are so impressed with each show we have seen at the Magic Theater! The company is really a San Antonio treasure!
2012 Valero Texas Open
On Thursday, Dustin took the afternoon off from work to take Peyton to the Valero Texas Open. This is becoming an annual event for the two of them! They had an exciting time!
In spirit with a military appreciation theme at the event, two Army tanks were set up at the course. Peyton was allowed to sit inside one and look through the telescope!
Peyton's other exciting news of the day was that he was given a golf ball by pro golfer Garrett Willis from Knoxville Tennessee. He and Daddy had watched him tee off. Then he reached into his golf bag, took out a ball, tossed it to Peyton, and Peyton caught it!
They picked a great day to go to the tournament. The weather was amazing and, since it was just Thursday and the first round, the crowds were really light.

Touchdown!
Almost eight years later - still loves to sleep in the "touchdown" position!
Spurs Game
On Saturday night, we took the kids and one of Peyton's buddy's to the Spurs game at the AT&T Center. The Spurs played the Phoenix Suns and dominated the game from the very beginning.
Soccer Saturday
Our Saturdays are now filled with soccer games!
Animal Project
Last week, the First Graders had to do an Animal Project for homework. They had to chose an animal, fill out a report on the animal, and then make a poster representing the animal's habitat. Peyton chose a cat - not surprisingly! He used library books and Worldbook Online to fill out his report. For the "Most Interesting Fact" section of the report, Peyton wrote: "It's whiskers help it to get around in the dark." He enjoyed making his poster - a house with several cats inside!
Peyton's Book
A few weeks ago at school, Peyton wrote and "published" a book about one of his favorite persons - Mrs. Golden, Specht's Assistant Principal. I took these pictures of the book; then Peyton gave it to her. She was thrilled and gave Peyton the biggest hugs! He beamed from ear to ear in light of her excitement over the book! It was very sweet!
Easter Day
As anticipated, our Easter Day dawned bright and early. The kids woke up and raced downstairs to see if the Easter Bunny had left anything in their Easter baskets. They weren't disappointed!
