Volunteer Family Pictures

Before Thanksgiving, our church provided a photographer to take family pictures for children's ministry volunteers.  He got some really cute ones of Peyton and Reagan!

Thanksgiving 2012

Our week-long Francis Thanksgiving/Christmas celebration began on Friday, November 16 after school as we loaded up the car and headed to Greenville.  This time, instead of just spending the night with Gran Gran and Pe Pa and then leaving the next day, Gran Gran and Pe Pa came along with us to Tennessee!  We finally arrivedto a house full in Hendersonville on Saturday night!

On Sunday morning, we all went to church with Granmommy and Grandaddy.  Reagan and Lennon got to be in their pre-school Sunday School class!

On Sunday afternoon, Daddy and the kids hit the golf course.

On Monday, the four of us took a field trip to Fall Creek Falls, about 2 hours away.

We began our 1/2 mile hike at the top of the falls.

Back in Nashville on Tuesday afternoon, we went to the Adventure Science Center, per request of all four kids!

On Wednesday afternoon, we took family pictures in the beautiful Fall leaves.

While meal preparations we being made on Thursday morning, Grandaddy and the grandkids put up and decorated the Christmas tree.

Once the tree was up, it was time for the kids to make our traditional pull apart bread.

Time to feast!

On Friday morning, we celebrated Christmas!

... and decorated gingerbread houses and trains.

Reagan, Peyton and Mia camped out in a tent in the basement each night.

We left early Saturday morning with Gran Gran and Pe Pa to head back to Greenville and then on to San Antonio on Sunday, bringing a close to another wonderful Thanksgiving in Nashville!

Fun Run

Today, Peyton school held the first annual Boosterthon Fun Run.  For a week, the kids have been taking pledges for running laps at the Fun Run.  Today was the BIG DAY!   Peyton enthusiastically and proudly completed 35 laps, the most allowed!  The Fun Run was also our school one and only fundraiser for the year, and it was a huge success!

2nd Grade received the highest amount of pledges, so one of the 2nd grade teachers got to smash a "pie" in our assistant principal Ms. Golden's face!

Reagan had a great time at the Fun Run too!
