Halloween 2012
Happy Halloween! We have had a fun evening of partying with friends, trick-or-treating in our neighborhood and handing out candy!

A Peek Back...
Here are a few pictures from our previous visits to the pumpkin patch. Can't believe how much they have both grown up since we moved to San Antonio!
Pumpkin Patch
Today was an early release day for Peyton's school for parent/teacher conferences. Since our conference with Peyton's teacher was yesterday (which went GREAT by the way!), the kids and I had a free afternoon. We decided to go to the Sweet Berry Farms Pumpkin Patch in Marble Falls. We have visited that pumpkin patch for three years in a row now! The weather was great, and we had a fun afternoon!

Pink Pumpkins!
One of Reagan's favorite books right now is Pinkalicious and the Pink Pumpkin. So I was thrilled to learn that a local boutique has a pink pumpkin patch (it's really just a photo spot!)! I was even more thrilled to realized that this boutique was in Bracken Village, where we were already scheduled to have family pictures taken by my photographer friend. Reagan has been looking forward to seeing the real-life "pink" pumpkins for days, and they did not disappoint! :)
Cold Weather Soccer
Reagan had an early morning soccer game today - the day after the first big cold front of the season blew through! It was about 50 degrees during the game, and it was cold!

The Kid Who Ran for President
Tonight we went to the Magic Theater for a performance of The Kid Who Ran for President. As always, the play was outstanding!
Straight A's!
Peyton brought home his first 2nd grade report card today - his first ever report card with actual number grades on it. As anticipated, he made straight A's (including 2 100's and the lowest was 96!) for the first nine weeks of school! For earning straight A's he received an "A Honor Roll" spirit stick for his collection. He also brought home a "Good Conduct" spirit stick!
Our school has recently began a spirit stick craze... Spirit sticks are little canvas rectangles with phrases/pictures printed on them that the kids can earn and collect throughout the year. They attach to a key ring, and the kids can keep them on their backpacks. Peyton has 5 so far: All-Star Student (which was given to ever student to kick off his/her collection), Lost Tooth (because he let the school nurse pull a loose tooth at school), a Boo stick (purchased at the school store), A Honor Roll and Good Conduct.

First Goal of the Season
At last Saturday's soccer game, Reagan scored her first goal of the season! Unfortunately, I don't have pics from the game, but I did get this one afterwards! She's actually holding the game ball - her very own ball had been used as the game ball!
