Halloween!!!

 Jack-o-lantern pizza for dinner!

 Pinkalicious ready to go Trick-or-treating!

We decided that we should have made an a sign for this little out-of-work astronaut that said, "Will work for candy!"

 Trick-or-treating at Gregory's house.

Gregory's first Halloween!

Trick-or-treating with Gregory!

Our Real-life Jack-o-lantern!

Peyton lost his third tooth last night on Halloween Eve.  Now he has a gap on top and a gap on the bottom still, making our little Pumpkin Head look a lot like a real-life Jack-o-lantern this Halloween!

Fall Festival

For some Halloween fun this evening, we dressed up the kids and headed to Freebirds, where kids in costume ate for free this weekend.

After dinner, we went to a Fall Festival, hosted by our neighborhood church, Crossbridge Community Church.

Peyton really wanted to do the cake walk, and his lucky streak continued - he won a cake on his very first round!

Reagan play the marble race game.  Notice that Pinkalicious does not have pink hair tonight!  Mommy and Daddy decided that Pinkalicious was much cuter in her natural brown hair and a crown.  Pinkalicious, of course, did not share Mommy and Daddy's opinion, but the debate was finalized when we "ran out" of pink spray! :)  And Pinkalicious was perfectly happy the rest of the evening and didn't even mention the pink hair again!

 Playing basketball.

 Marble Race

Petting an 18 year old turtle - on it's way to living for up to 130 years and weighing 300 lbs!

 Holding a dragon.

Petting a snake.  This snake eats 3 rabbits per week!

Reagan was surprisingly fascinated with the snakes!  Peyton - not so much!

 Boxing with Gumby

 Enjoying ice cream!

Stephanie and Gregory in his cuddly puppy costume met us up there.  Gregory's first fall festival!

Peyton with his prize cake!

Reagan's Halloween Outfits

Reagan had a couple of different Halloween outfits this year that she's been wearing A LOT this month!

I found these adorable jeans and top at a little kids resale store I frequent.  We've had the bow for a couple of Halloween's now.  Unfortunately, this was it's last Halloween - it accidentally fell into the potty at school last week!

Last year's kitty shirt with a Wal Mart skirt...  Ready for school on their "No costumes Trick-or-Treat" day! :)

Book Fair

Last week was also Book Fair at our school.  Here are a few pictures from Family Night...

Decked out in costumes and ready to go!  Reagan is Pinkalicious and Peyton is an astronaut.

Peyton choosing a prize... the 2nd drawing he won on Thursday!

The kids with Aunt Stephanie... aka The Cat in the Hat.

Peyton standing next to Lego Man - a friend in 3rd grade.  Peyton LOVED this costume!

The sweet friend let Peyton try on his Lego head!

 Reagan found Pinkalicious in Spanish!

Peyton got a 3D Star Wars book and loves wearing his glasses!  Peyton wanted practically every Star Wars book at the Book Fair (and he actually did get quite a few of them, some for now, some that were put away for Christmas!)

Red Ribbon Week

Last week, Peyton's school celebrated Red Ribbon Week with a different dress-up theme each day.  Here are pictures of a few of Peyton's outfits...

 Crazy Hair Day

Jersey Day

Pajama Day

The kids were all giving a numbered red ribbon to wear all week.  Each morning, the counselor held a drawing and called several students to the office to get a prize.  On Thursday, she called Peyton's number!  He got a star shaped pencil sharpener and a red drug-free bracelet.

Did I Just Dream About Fiesta Texas

Yesterday, Reagan and I were driving down 281, and she spotted a Texas flag.  She said, "Look, Mommy, Texas!  We went to that Texas place!  It was fun!  We got to play there a lot!"  Wondering exactly what she was referring to, I asked, "Do you mean Fiesta Texas?  Where we went in the summer?"  Reagan: "Yes!  Fiesta Texas!  You mean we REALLY went there?  It was so fun, I thought it was just a dream!"

Crossing Guard

After two early morning soccer games on Saturday, we headed to Pawnee for the afternoon.  The kids spent most of the afternoon enjoying the fresh air (and dirt!) outside.  Peyton's "game for the day" was "crossing guard".  He convinced Grandpa to drive the Ranger while he ordered him to stop and then go.... again and again and again!

 Peyton being the crossing guard.

 Reagan playing "road crew"

Playing in the dirt at dusk.

Sweet Berry Farms Pumpkin Patch

Last Friday afternoon, all four of us headed to Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Farms to visit their pumpkin patch.  We enjoyed a hayride to Scarecrow Island,  playing hide-and-seek in the Candy Corn Maze, traipsing through the zinnia field and, of course, all the pumpkins!

On the hayride

 Playing in the zinnia field

Found a kitty in the zinnia field

Peyton trying to figure out which way to go in the maze.

Ringing the bell at the end of the maze.

After leaving the pumpkin patch, we decided to stop for frozen yogurt for dinner!
Brain freeze!

Halloween Fun with Cousins

Last Wednesday, Kerri, Reid and Ryan invited Christy, Cayden, Brinley, Reagan and I over to their house for a little Halloween fun!  The five kids decorated witch hats, enjoyed a yummy jack-0-lantern themed lunch, heard a cute story and spent time runny around in the yard together!

Adding sprinkles to her witch hat.

Listening to Kerri read a cute Halloween story.

Trying to be still long enough to take a picture!

 Lunch on the deck.

Later that day.... exhausted from all the fun!
