This afternoon Aunt Stephanie, Reagan, Peyton and I went to see the play "Snow White and The Seven Amigos" at The Magik Theater (a children's theater) in downtown San Antonio. Daddy stayed home to work on our never-ending project list and Uncle Brett went to the deer lease to get it set up (even though deer season is still a few months away!) The play was really cute. It was based on the Snow White fairly tale but with a Latino twist. It was over an hour long, and Peyton was thoroughly engrossed in it the entire time! Reagan enjoyed it, too, even though the speakers were a bit too loud at the beginning. She covered her ears with her hands and, when it finally got quiet, said, "Can I open my ears now?" She was a bit confused because the Snow White in the play did not wear the traditional Snow White dress. Peyton caught on to the slight changes in the characters and kept asking if the apple contained "real" poison. In this version, the wicked stepmother poisoned Snow White three times before she actually "died" until the prince came. Peyton thought it was cool that Snow White "died" three times (such a boy!) - that was the first thing he told Daddy about after arriving home!

No More Diapers!
Yea! Reagan is potty-trained! After a very rough first day (we're talking 3 changes of clothes by 10:30 in the morning!), she got the hang of it on day 2 and has been doing great (with no accidents!) for a week now! And she's really eating up her new independence! After a few days of dry pull-ups after nap time, I finally just let her sleep in her panties yesterday. While she napped, the rest of us went to the garage to do some work. Later, when I opened the garage/house door to check on her, I found her standing at the bottom of the stairs - looking sleepy but in dry clothes! I asked her if she needed to go potty. "I already did go potty!" she protested. I examined her clothes a little closer and found that while her shorts were on correctly, her underwear were on backwards (with a bit of a wedgie!). Apparently, she had woken up from her nap, found no one in the house, and took it upon herself to remove her shorts and underwear, go potty, and then put her shorts and underwear back on - all by herself!
