Reagan's School Egg Hunt
Lego Picture
Peyton recently took this picture of some of his Lego figures all lined up. I thought it made a pretty cool picture - and so did he! He printed it out and put it on the magnet board in his room!
Social Studies Project
The 2nd Graders at Peyton's school recently participated in an economics project. They had to come up with a product, make the product and then market the product to their classmates for trading or bartering. Peyton decided to make chalkboard painted Easter eggs - or "Chalkboards for Easter Only" as he titled his product.
Playing Library
Peyton and Reagan decided to turn our playroom into a library. The brought in stacks of books and set up check out stations.

It's Soccer Time Again!
Soccer season has started up again! This Spring Daddy is coaching both Peyton AND Reagan's teams! Not assisting either - head coach. Both teams. Tonight was Reagan's first practice. She is on an all-girls team at the Y. She has been talking about Spring soccer pretty much since Fall soccer ended. And she is thrilled to finally have Daddy as her coach! She had a great practice tonight, and we are looking forward to her first game on Saturday. Peyton's team starts practice later this week, but their first game is not until after Easter.

St. Patrick's Day
We have a little leprechaun who visited the kids last St. Patrick's Day (as they were sleeping) and played a joke on them by turning the toilet water green. So this year, the kids starting talking about their leprechaun on March 1, wondering if he was going to return this year and what tricks he was going to play. Even though the kids were expecting the toilet water to be green again, they laughed hysterically when they "discovered" it! The leprechaun played a few more tricks as well. He turned the milk green - which Peyton refused to even try a sip of but Reagan eagerly tasted it. He also wrote out "Gotcha" with green M&Ms. They worst trick of all, however, was that he REMOVED ALL OF THE MARSHMELLOWS from the box of Lucky Charms that the kids had been waiting eagerly to eat on St. Patrick's Day morning. Reagan was almost in tears when I quickly suggested that maybe he bagged them up and left them somewhere for the kids to find. So the search began and the beloved marshmellows were found in a baggie resting on top of a kitchen cabinet!

Random Pics from Spring Break
I didn't take many pictures during Spring Break. I just kept thinking about how far behind in blogging I was, and, if I took many pictures, I would be even further behind! :) But now of course, I wish I had taken more!
We went on a three day trip to Dallas and I took one picture - at Build a Bear as the kids were "cleaning" Brother Bear and Sister Bear. Dustin had to give a training on Thursday and Friday, so the kids and I went with him to Dallas. While Dustin worked the kids and I got to hang out with good friends and spent time at the mall. It was really a great trip, and now I'm disappointed that I don't have more pictures.

Peyton's Purple Pancakes
Peyton decided that he wanted to make dinner for us one evening - actually, he dinner he chose to make was "binner". Binner (or breakfast for dinner) is one of his favorite meals. I decided to turn the reins completely over to him. He got out all the ingredients, measured everything, mixed it all together, added food coloring for fun and cooked the pancakes (that part we supervised a little!) The pancakes turned out great, and Peyton was very proud of his accomplishment!

Photo Booth
We recently attended a 10 year anniversary party for some friends a cute little "party ranch" near Bulverde. The celebration included a ceremony, dinner, dancing (and playing for all the kids!) and the latest trend in parties - a dress up photo booth! Here's our family photo:

Partying with the Spurs Coyote
On the same Saturday as Peyton's first basket during a game, Peyton and Reagan attended a basketball party for a friend in Peyton's class. Unbeknownst to the birthday boy (and all the kids there), the actual, real Spurs Coyote was scheduled to make a visit. So the kids were partying along, enjoying hot dogs and playing in the huge back yard, when all of a sudden, the Coyote appears out of nowhere! He spent about 30 minutes with the kids, playing games, signing autographs and taking pictures!
